LinkPlease Review: Instagram Automation and Pricing

A practical LinkPlease review covering Instagram comment-to-DM workflows, Free and paid plans, USD and INR pricing, platform limits, and creator fit.

Verdict: LinkPlease is worth considering if you want Instagram comment-to-DM automation with a free starting point and optional tools for lead collection, catching missed comments, and managing a busier account. Its paid plans remove monthly DM and contact caps, while higher tiers add AI features. Choose the tier for a specific workflow, and compare the full billing amount rather than the headline monthly equivalent.

Reviewed October 9, 2026. This review covers LinkPlease at linkplease.co and uses official product pages, its help center, and Meta documentation. It is a documentation-based assessment, not a hands-on reliability or conversion test. It appears on Solovio’s blog; our comparisons focus on verified features and practical creator needs.

The basic comment-to-DM workflow

LinkPlease’s official comment-automation guide describes choosing a post or Reel, adding trigger keywords, preparing public comment replies, writing the private message, adding a URL button, saving, and switching the automation on. It supports multiple keywords for the same post and a selection of public replies. Comment automation guide

That setup fits a familiar creator task: somebody asks for the worksheet, product link, or guide you mentioned, and you send it without handling every first reply yourself.

For example, a design educator could invite viewers to comment SKETCH for a practice sheet. The public response can acknowledge the request, while the DM points to the sheet. Use a button label that names the resource. “Download the practice sheet” tells the recipient more than “Click here.”

Our recommendation is to start with one post, one promise, and one destination. Add extra keywords only when they represent the same request. If GUIDE and PRICE mean different things to your audience, keep the responses clear rather than sending one vague message to both.

What the Free plan includes—and where it stops

The current Free card lists unlimited automations, 1,000 DMs per month, and 1,000 contacts. Comment-to-DM, Share to DM, inbound DM automation, Story automation, Live automation, and queueing appear as included features. Ask for follow, Re-trigger, and Collect user data are shown as excluded. LinkPlease plan details

That distinction matters. A free comment-to-DM campaign can deliver a resource, but you should not plan a campaign around a paid capability and assume it comes with the free allowance.

The Pro help guide describes unlimited DMs and contacts after upgrading. Pro upgrade guide For a creator with repeated resource requests, the reason to upgrade may be capacity. For another creator, it may be a particular tool. Write down that reason before choosing a subscription.

The public pages do not fully explain how every message type is counted, whether repeat recipients affect usage, or the lifecycle of the contact cap. Confirm those details if your expected volume is close to a limit.

LinkPlease pricing: monthly versus annual

These USD prices were checked using the live currency and billing controls:

PlanPay monthlyAnnual total, paid yearly
Free$0$0
Pro$14.99$139.99
Super$34.99$334.99
Max$39.99$383.99

INR monthly / annual totals are: Pro ₹499 / ₹4,788; Super ₹999 / ₹9,590; Max ₹1,199 / ₹10,788. Plans are per Instagram account; taxes may apply. Current pricing

Annual billing means paying the yearly total together. It is not a monthly instalment plan at the lower displayed rate. Check your selected currency, billing period, and checkout total before buying; these are regional prices, not a currency-conversion estimate.

Super lists AI message rotation, a brand-deal detector, and comment moderation. Max adds IG Shield and priority WhatsApp support. Both AI tiers list 10,000 monthly AI credits. Paid tier comparison

The public pricing page does not specify AI credit costs per action or top-up prices. Confirm these if AI is your reason to upgrade.

A higher price does not automatically mean a better fit. If your recurring job is delivering one link, start by evaluating that job. AI features become relevant when you can name the work you want them to help with.

Three paid features to evaluate in a real campaign

Re-trigger for missed requests

LinkPlease describes Re-trigger as running automation for comments from the previous seven days. Re-trigger overview

This could help when a creator publishes a useful tutorial and only sets up resource delivery afterward. Before using it on a busy post, ask how the tool handles people who already received a reply and how eligible comments are selected. The public description does not establish that every past comment can receive a new message.

The first priority is keeping the original promise. If the tutorial offered a practice sheet, send that sheet rather than replacing it with a sales pitch several days later.

Ask for follow

The product describes a follow request before sending the message. Ask for follow

Consider the extra step from the recipient’s perspective. A viewer asked for a resource; now they must do something else before receiving it. If you choose that workflow, explain the condition in the caption rather than surprising them in the inbox.

For a useful free guide, immediate delivery may be the better experience. For a resource explicitly offered to followers, a clearly stated condition may fit. This is a creator decision, not a guaranteed growth tactic.

Collecting contact details

LinkPlease advertises lead collection and export of captured email addresses and phone numbers. Lead collection overview

A workshop creator might ask for an email to send registration information. Explain the purpose and collect only the details needed for that next step. An email request, a resource delivery, and a newsletter invitation should each be understandable to the person responding.

Before committing to a paid plan for this feature, check the exact form fields, export format, and connections to the tools you already use. The public feature overview does not provide a complete integration specification.

Messaging rules and account-protection claims

Meta’s current private-reply documentation allows one private message to a commenter, generally within seven days of the comment. Follow-up messages require the recipient to respond and must be sent within 24 hours of that response. Replies during Instagram Live have a separate requirement: they must be sent while the broadcast is live. Meta private-reply documentation

Those rules help explain why catching missed comments and sending follow-ups are different jobs. An eligible older comment is not permission for an open-ended sequence. Ask how your planned workflow satisfies the relevant messaging requirements.

LinkPlease says it uses the official Graph API and paces delivery through a queue, including during activity spikes. LinkPlease’s account-safety description We have not independently measured its queue performance or audited its AI protection.

Our assessment is to treat pacing as a useful product capability, while avoiding a buying decision based on promises of complete protection from account restrictions. A vendor’s protection label is not evidence that every workflow, message, or audience interaction is risk-free.

Also consider message placement. Meta says a private reply can appear in Message Requests when the commenter does not follow the creator. Private-reply delivery behavior A follower who cannot find the resource may need a clear public acknowledgement rather than another promotional message.

Setup, cancellation, and the first small trial

The official connection guide uses an Instagram authorization flow and suggests trying a desktop browser if the permission screen does not appear on mobile. Instagram connection guide

Before a major launch, run one small campaign and check:

  • The right comment triggers the promised resource.
  • The public acknowledgement matches the private message.
  • The destination opens correctly on a phone.
  • You can find usage and delivery information.
  • You understand how to pause the campaign and handle a personal question.

These are recommended checks for your own account, not tests we performed for this review.

For cancellation, the published refund policy says current billing periods are not refunded. It also asks monthly subscribers to cancel at least three days before the payment date and describes contacting support for cancellation. Confirm the cutoff and retain the confirmation. When LinkPlease is a better fit, and when to consider Solovio

LinkPlease deserves consideration when its documented paid tools match your workflow: collecting leads, catching eligible missed requests, or evaluating AI assistance for a busy creator account. Its free allowance also makes it a reasonable place to assess basic resource delivery before a subscription.

Solovio is worth considering when your priority is a focused comment-to-DM workflow for selected posts and Reels. Its current feature page describes keyword or broader comment triggers and a prepared DM for a guide, offer, or link. Solovio comment automation

Solovio’s USD monthly Pro price is $9, with 25 active automations and 5,000 automated DMs per month. Free includes three active automations and 100 automated DMs per month. Applicable tax is added at checkout, and pricing can vary by location and billing cycle. Solovio pricing

For a solo creator delivering a resource and personally handling deeper questions, compare those limits and costs with the paid capabilities you would actually use. If LinkPlease’s particular lead-collection or account-management tools are essential, assess them directly rather than assuming a cheaper plan elsewhere provides the same workflow.
